Surf Lessons in Laguna Beach
You will meet your instructor at the only true brick and mortar surf school in Laguna Beach. We have dedicated guest parking, bathroom/changing room, and best of all… a warm shower for after the lesson. We teach at Thalia Street, Laguna’s best location for beginner waves.
Our 1.5 hour group lessons allow you ample time to learn paddle out, wave judgment, etiquette, and pop-up techniques. Our instructors are experienced professionals who pride themselves on getting you up, and keeping you safe. We have a very high ratio of students standing up the first time, and launching into a lifetime of passion for surfing and surf culture.
Transportation to La Vida Laguna, located 2.5 miles from the resort is not included but may be arranged with the resort concierge upon request.
We love beginners (+8yrs - adults). No prior experience necessary though you must be able to swim and have a healthy love of the ocean.

Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Please note that no-shows, cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled excursion time will be charged in full.
