We are delighted to welcome you back to The Ranch at Laguna Beach. The health and comfort of our guests is paramount to our team and we are truly honored by the trust you place in us, each time you stay.
Below you'll find wellbeing practices and modified resort experiences you may anticipate when you arrive and during your stay. To provide our guests with greater peace of mind, we are proud to announce that we were named one of the first hotels in the world to receive a Forbes verification with Sharecare Health. The health certification is based on 360 standards from health practices and cleaning products to resort experiences.

Resort-Wide Updates
- In collaboration with local and national health experts, our property is sanitized and maintained with daily cleaning protocols to ensure our guests are safe and comfortable.
- Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the property.
- Aranet4 sensors have been installed throughout the property to monitor air quality and air re-circulation.
- We have installed medical grade MERV-15 air filters and UV lights in the heating and air conditioning systems of our restaurant, lobby and meeting spaces.
Guest Rooms
- Our guest rooms were built with individual heat, ventilation and air conditioning systems. This structure ensures that any possible airborne elements are not transferred between rooms through a climate system.
- Small fridges will be sanitized after each guest.
Arrival and Departures
- Bell carts are sanitized to a gleaming finish before each guest arrival.
- Room keys are sanitized using CDC-approved disinfectant.
- Guests will receive a final bill via email prior to departure, allowing them to skip the Front Desk checkout process.
Housekeeping
- Rooms are thoroughly cleaned prior to guest arrival with CDC-approved disinfectants and electrostatic sprayer technology.
- Linens and towels continue to be washed and refreshed in accordance with CDC guidelines.
- Laundry and linens will be bagged in guestroom to eliminate excess contact in transit.
- Daily Service: Our team will access your room twice daily to provide daily service and turndown service.
Dining
Harvest
- Menus are revised to reduce back of house density, while still providing the fresh, seasonal California flavors guests know and love.
- All surfaces sanitized at least once per hour by a member of the resort’s dedicated Sani-Czar team.
The Porch
- All self-service condiments and utensils will be removed and available from servers.
- Silverware will be rolled in napkins, straws are individually wrapped.
Room Service
- Room service may be prepared as a to-go order and dropped fresh in front of guest rooms or set up for a classic room service experience.
Fitness Center
- Fitness equipment is positioned to provide for physical distancing.
- Maximum of 3 guests will be permitted at the fitness center at one time.
Spa
- Masks are worn by staff upon request.
- Outdoor massages are available upon request.
- All services will be by appointment only.
- Additional guests and children will not be permitted in the spa for the safety of guests and team members.
- Medical grade UV light is used throughout spa for sanitation
- Contact-less payment will be offered.
- Surface sanitation is completed every 30 mins.
