The Ranch at Laguna Beach, a National Geographic Unique Lodge of the World 
welcomes explorers for weekly canyon adventures!
 

Wednesdays - Saturdays
9am- 1pm
June 13th - August 26th

Camp includes a boxed lunch, Junior Explorer backpack, water bottle, teeshirt, Year of The Bird coloring book
and patches earned on curriculum and merit.

  • WEDNESDAY Bees & Bugs 
Explore the insect kingdom and learn all about the importance of bees in our ecosystem. We will design and build our own nature journals to sketch and identify insects in their natural habitat!
 
  • THURSDAY Gardening 
Venture to Scout Camp get your hands dirty! We'll learn about planting and harvesting in our half acre organic garden. Campers plant their own seed-bearing lollipops after decorating their own planting tins to take home.
 
  • FRIDAY Canyon Creatures 
Explorers take a hike and spot signs of wildlife in the canyon. We'll uncover animal tracks and make clay casts of our favorites to take home!
 
  • SATURDAY Birds of Prey 
Meet real raptors! Guests learn about hawks, owls and eagles through an interactive class with OC Birds of Prey Center. Afterwards, rangers will use pine cones and faux feathers to design their own owl to take home!
 
$40 per camper. Limited to the first 10 guests to sign up, must be a guest of the hotel and 6-12 years old.
