Years ago a Lithuanian friend of my wife showed us the most beautiful Easter Eggs I’ve ever seen. They looked like carved marble or maybe some kind of Dinosaur egg. They had such rich, but natural coloring as opposed to the artificial, pastel coloring we are all used to. We asked her how to make them, but she would never tell us. She said it was “a Lithuanian thing”. Well we figured it out on our own, and she might be upset with us, but now we can pass the recipe along to you. Sorry “Z”.
